These chips are a great alternative when you need something crunchy. Practically no carbs and loads of protein. Use a dry cheese like Parmesan or Asiago to keep fat content low. They make a great chip with salsa and a healthy replacement for garlic bread. Just sprinkle a little garlic powder over the cheese before you microwave.
As microwaves vary in temps, start out at 30 sec and increase in 5 sec increments till the cheese just starts to brown.
These delicious chips will keep in your frig for a couple of weeks...if they last that long!
