Ok, let me tell you a story. As an individual who has taught floral design for many years, the hardest part is getting students to get their flowers to stand up. While this may sound simple, it really is not especially if you do not use floral foam, floral frog or tape. Floral foam is inexpensive and in doing so I have used it many times but…………. When you are arranging in a clear container, you do not want foam showing through the vase. The floral frog has the same issue and one is limited by the size of the floral frog. In other words, if you have a large vase you probably will not find a floral frog large enough to use in the vase.

Well, that leaves the tape. Yes, I have made the hash marks on the top of the vase to create a grid. While this may sound strange, the grid shape not only helps to support the flowers but also gives you a guide when it comes to floral arranging. But if you are not careful the tape will show. Also, the tape will get wet. How will the tape get wet? You run the chance of getting the tape wet every time you or your client adds water to the vase.

What to do, what to do? This is the question that many floral designers ask and Budable listened. This company has created a very unique floral design product that turns novice designers into first class floral arrangers. How have they done this? It is simple. They have created a silicon topper that fits any shape of vase as long as it is between 2 and 6 inches in diameter. Since the budable is made from silicon, it is stretchable to fit over the top of any vase and it is reusable. But the best part is the fact that the top has 60 self-griping holes. What does this mean? What it means is what you put in the hole will be held. A detail that this company thought about was the shape of these 60 holes. While all the shapes will hold flower stems, the advantage to the different shapes is it accommodates for those uniquely shaped stems that challenge every floral designer.

In just, after trying out this product I am very impressed with it. It is very easy to use and allowed me to create a beautiful arrangement without much effort. The holes in the top gave me a guide by which I could follow for my flower placement. When it came time to water, I no longer had to try to get the water around the tape. The best part of this product is the fact that it is reusable on many different sizes of containers, which makes floral designing less of a hassle and gives me more time to be creative.
